HR Essentials for Leaders
It is critical for Leaders to understand employment laws as they are often the first contact for many employees. They often must coach their supervisors or direct reports on the handling of HR issues. Leaders must fully understand compliance issues as they are responsible for the day-to-day management of employees, participate in the interview process, and administer discipline.
This workshop will introduce Leaders to many of the employment laws and provide guidance on compliance. Leaders will gain an understanding of how their actions can create a liability to the company and even create a personal liability. Leaders are strongly encouraged to always consult with Human Resources to ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
