Strata Benefit 2017 | Date Night for Foodies

A few years ago, DVMS & Strata showed their commitment to your children by purchasing a 10,000 square foot building in the heart of a conservation area that allows us to offer the highest quality Montessori programming to your children as they enter their adolescent years. Montessori pedagogy promises that if we offer adolescents a nature-based program built around a supportive community, and that if we give them responsibilities, they will rise up and support each other. The program has exceeded our expectations. Our adolescents are still committed to learning, still committed to kindness, and still committed to offering their best selves.

Every week, we will be offering up incentives to lure you out. You have young children, you deserve a night out.
To begin, we have arranged babysitting for all of the Strata and DVMS Elementary children (it is the night they are all out camping).

We also promise incredible food, a guaranteed beautiful setting, and just wait until you hear the resume of our musical guest.

Strata Montessori continues to be a development project of DVMS, so when you help Strata, you help DVMS. The support of DVMS families does more than help further develop Strata for the time when your children are adolescents; helping Strata continue to attain independence helps DVMS continue to invest in its own, ongoing development.

Your support will help both Strata and DVMS undertake a few big projects that are on the radar: new windows and an outdoor classroom at Strata, upgraded roof and gym floor at DVMS, and, most importantly, more support for students with learning differences at both locations.

Offer auction items. (Every year, someone offers a few vacation packages -- but they only tell us the day before. If you have a time share, a cottage, a retreat, to offer please tell us as soon as possible so we can spread the word as these are our most lucrative auction items.)
