Have you ever wondered how to leverage the experience of a conference into directly applicable outcomes for your professional and personal life?

E3 has an answer!

 


E3 provides a unique opportunity to work with Dr. JuanCarlos Arauz as an EquityConference Guide. Through personalized attention to your needs and desired learning outcomes, you will deepen your learning, sharpen your equity lens, and walk away with an action plan to bring back to your organization. We provide personalized connections to keynote speakers and other leaders in the field through unique evening sessions and tailored guidance and coaching to deepen your impact. 


PROCESS

  1. Complete Equity Intake Form and have pre-conference conversation with your E3 Equity Guide. Review goals for attending conference(s)
  2. Debrief conference sessions and workshops (and the end of each day), process and integrate insights
  3. Develop a personal action plan that integrates learning and insights from the conference  

 
INCLUDED

  • Self-assessment tools and tailored reflection sessions
  • VIP access and personalized introduction to conference keynote speakers and premiere thought leaders. Intimate evening sessions and equity dialogues
  • Work with your E3 Equity Guide to incorporate learning and insights from the conference into an action plan to implement once returning home/back to work

The People of Color Conference is the flagship of the National Association of Independent Schools' commitment to equity and justice in teaching and learning. The mission of the conference is to provide a safe space for leadership and professional development and networking for people of color and allies of all backgrounds in independent schools. PoCC equips educators at every level, from teachers to trustees, with knowledge, skills, and experiences to improve and enhance the interracial, interethnic, and intercultural climate in their schools, 
as well as the attending academic, social-emotional, and workplace performance outcomes for students and adults alike.

WHITE PRIVILEGE CONFERENCE (WPC)

  • WPC is a conference that examines challenging concepts of privilege and oppression and offers solutions and team building strategies to work toward a more equitable world.
  • It is not a conference designed to attack, degrade or beat up on white folks.
  • It is not a conference designed to rally white supremacist groups.
  • WPC is a conference designed to examine issues of privilege beyond skin color. WPC is open to everyone and invites diverse perspectives to provide a comprehensive look at issues of privilege including: race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, etc. — the ways we all experience some form of privilege, and how we’re all affected by that privilege.
  • WPC attracts students, professionals, activists, parents, and community leaders/members from diverse perspectives. WPC welcomes folks with varying levels of experience addressing issues of diversity, cultural competency, and multiculturalism.
