Recruit, Train, and Retain 2-Day Workshop

October 24th & 25th, 2017

The Recruit, Train, and Retain Series is a workshop series that started in 2012 and was designed to assist managers and direct service staff to build and keep happy and lasting teams. For those who have not joined us for one of these events in the past, this event combines training from leaders in the field with interactive dialogue to create a time to connect, brainstorm, and network with others in the supported employment field about how to find (and keep) a dynamic and high performing team that is able to further the mission of employment for all. Attendees are typically program managers, senior employment consultants and emerging leaders (employment specialists) within adult service agencies.

The next RTR Workshop is scheduled in October, and we are excited to return to Alderbrook Resort on the Hood Canal!

Washington APSE is proud to be a sponsor of RTR  2017!  APSE - The Association of People Supporting  Employment First - is the only national organization with  an exclusive focus on integrated employment and career  advancement opportunities for individuals with  disabilities.  The first 50 Washington APSE members to  register will receive a discounted registration cost of $100.00 by entering a current membership number. If you are interested in becoming an APSE member, please go to http://apse.org/membership/join/

Bringing together what we have learned in past RTR sessions as well as exciting new training content, the RTR planning committee has built an agenda that will address current issues being faced by managers and direct line staff working in supported employment. Part of our time together will focus on how we deal with the loss of staff and what it means to our team.

Registration is limited to 90 attendees! Register early to secure your spot for RTR 2017.
