Brian Covert is originally from Hamilton Ohio and moved to Somerset in 2001. Brian’s interest in art and drawing began at a young age. His love of drawing continued to thrive under the guidance of several influential art teachers from elementary school through high school. In 2007, Brian began working as a tattoo artist at a few local shops including Liquid Addiction, where he learned more artistic styles. In mid-2009, Brian quit tattooing and continued to focus on learning different art techniques; eventually teaching himself how to paint. Currently, Brian is working to expand his art business and to teach art classes and pass his knowledge on to others.

Your Own Painted Canvas
Where Fun Meets Art
Course Description:
Create your own painted canvas with The Center's Business & Community Training paint night, where fun meets art.
Students will paint a 16X20 Canvas. We provide all the tools you need to create your painting, Set-up and clean up is taken care of by our staff, so that everything is ready when you arrive and you can leave without worrying about the mess.
The artist will lead the class through easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions on how to create your painting.
You can follow the instructions exactly or branch out on your own and try something different. Even if you go a direction you're not happy with, just let the artist know and he can help you explore your options.
Creating your own painted canvas is easy - no talent or experience is necessary. A willingness to try is all you need, we take care of the rest.
