About the Speaker:

Johan Lidros (CISA, CISM, CGEIT, HITRUST CCSFP, ITIL-F, CRISC) will be the instructor. He has been teaching the CISA and CISM classes for more than 10 years. Johan has extensive experience working with many organizations related to IT risk assessments, quality of IT processes, information security, IT auditing, BC/DR and other IT governance projects. He has over 20 years of experience and a comprehensive understanding of current IT governance and security standards such as: COBIT, ISO 38500, ISO31000, HITRUST, BCI GPG, CMS, NIST 800 and ISO27000-serie. Johan was also an ISACA international CGEIT Committee member (2011-2014) and has been a ISACA local chapter board members for more than 15 years in Florida and Sweden.

Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) Exam Prep & Information Security Fundamentals

 

You are invited to join us for a two-day CISM exam-focused training event on August 17th and 18th from 8 AM to 5 PM. The event is open to ISACA Members and Non-members and Students.

CISM Overview:

ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification has become accepted proof of the necessary competency and experience for a wide range of information security, risk and senior management roles—in countries across the globe, including:

  • Information Security Managers
  • Aspiring Information Security Managers
  • IS/IT Consultants
  • Chief Information Officer

 CISM Exam Preparation & Training Event Information:

This course is offered to prepare audit and security professionals for the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), certification exam.  ISACA's applicable exam windows are August 1st – September 30th and November 1st – December 31st.  The course is also beneficial to those who want to gain greater insight into the foundational aspects of information security governance, information risk management and information security incident management. During the two days we will explore the four job practice domains task and knowledge statements, test taking tips, and understanding the logic behind ISACA exam questions.

Current CISA, CISM, CRISC, and CGEIT,  certification holders can achieve 16 credits toward their annual CPE requirement.   Credits also apply to CPE requirements of CGFN (AGA) and CIA (IIA) certifications, CPA (AICPA).  Please confirm with your organization.
