Marijuana Syndromes: How to Balance and Optimize the Effects of Cannabis with TCM

Level 1

Learn about the pros and cons of medical marijuana use and dispel popular myths! Learn tools to empower you to balance the unwanted side effects of marijuana and optimize its positive potentials.

In this two-day level-one course, you will learn about and treat marijuana syndromes with Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Traditional Chinese Medicine knows some things about marijuana that modern medicine hasn’t discovered yet. You will learn skills that can then transform your practice.

This class is not about recovery or addiction. It’s about identifying marijuana syndromes that may affect clinical outcomes and assisting people to effectively balance their health.

Course Objectives:

In this Level 1 weekend, you will learn

  • The pros and cons of medical marijuana
  • The physical and non-physical effects of marijuana in depth
  • Ethics and safety of treating marijuana related disorders
  • How to understand and recognize Marijuana syndromes
  • How to treat marijuana syndromes with Acupuncture - Level 1
  • How to treat marijuana syndromes with Chinese Herbs - Level 1

***This course dives deeper and expands on the content of the eLotus seminar***

NOTE: For Treating Marijuana Syndromes with Acupuncture + Herbs, the course will run a full day Saturday and Sunday. For Treating Marijuana Syndromes with Acupuncture only, the course will run Saturday and a half day Sunday.

John Mini, M.S.C.M., L.Ac.,

is an acupuncturist and herbalist in Marin County, California. John has studied the beliefs and sciences of indigenous cultures since he was very young. This led him to explore these cultures first hand and to go through many fascinating and unique experiences while traveling abroad. Along with his acupuncture practice, he's studied a number of indigenous and modern sciences to discover how best to help his patients. This has led him to writing, non-profit work and leading seminars and workshops to help more people than he's able to in his private medical practice. John is the author of the book Marijuana Syndromes: How to Balance and Optimize the Effects of Cannabis with TCM available on Amazon.
