Overcome Your Fear of Networking
Go from Scared to Successful
in Seven Steps

WNG Career Development Roundtable

Wednesday, June 28, 2017
4:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Please join the Washington Network Group when we convene our next WNG Career Development Roundtable with Lori Saitz, who will discuss with us how to "Overcome Your Fear of Networking - Go From Scared to Successful in Seven Steps."

Fortunately or unfortunately, networking and building relationships go along with the territory when you're on a mission and building an organization. So it's important to overcome feeling intimidated and uncomfortable. It's easy to think (or hope) you can skip in-person events and simply build your business through online relationships. But in reality, you live in a world with other humans. And humans are still wired to connect interpersonally. Which means your business success depends on you managing your fear of networking, going out and having face to face conversations as you develop relationships with those other humans.

Come prepared to participate in this interactive presentation and leave with:
1. A new confidence about what you offer and how it affects the lives of your prospects
2. The best ways to describe what you do so that conversation partners say "Tell me more!"
3. A better understanding of where your ideal clients or referral partners are hanging out, and consequently how to find them
4. A technique for making connections before you even get to an event
5. One key thing to always do before you step into a networking room
