About The US Grant: The US Grant, named for President Ulysses S. Grant, opened its doors in October of 1910. The iconic hotel was the site from which Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered one of his first radio addresses to the nation. Its rich history includes visits from Albert Einstein, Charles Lindbergh, John F. Kennedy and 11 other U.S. Presidents. It is in the National Register of Historic Places and has been the recipient of numerous accolades including multiple 2017 awards for fine dining and superior accomodations from Zagat, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, and AAA.
