2017 Southeast Texas Youth Career Expo
"Connect to Your Future!"
Please join us for the 3rd annual, Southeast Texas Youth Career Expo - "Connect to Your Future!".
Lst year, we hosted over 2500 students from 27 school districts and 30 high schools at Ford Park! Students enjoyed a 30 minute job readiness workshop as they prepared to "connect" to their future. Over 120 exhibitors were on hand to demonstrate the exciting occupations and career opportunities available right here in Southeast Texas.
This year, we want to expand our expo to include even more occupations and career opportunities for the students. This is where we need your participation. We are soliciting business to exhibit their occupations with interactive, hands-on displays that will engage our "workforce of the future". There is no charge to participate and the benefits to you are numerous:
- Associates your business with investing in our future workforce
- Promotes your business regionally
- Exposure in print and electronic media
- Provides name recognition to a highly desirable audience
The event will be held at Ford Park on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. High school students from Southeast Texas and beyond will be invited to attend. We are expecting as many as 3000 students this year!
Your free registration includes a 10 x 12 booth, a 6 foot table, 2 chairs, Wi-Fi and 2 box lunches. (Additional lunches may be purchased during registration.)
