2017 Summer Reading Club

Success in school starts with reading. Learning to read is hard work for children. Fortunately, research is now available that suggests how to give each child a good start in reading. Join us for a twice a week, hour long class for students entering Kindergarten or First grade, and a caregiver.

There will be three summer sessions of Reading Club.  Each session will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Rochester.

      June session:  June 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29

       July session: July 11,13, 18, 20, 25, 27

       August session:  August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17

Each session is $150.  Need based scholarships are available and will continue to apply for all sessions.   Please visit our website or contact us at 507-288-5271 to apply for a scholarship.

Wear play clothes---sometimes water will be included in the lessons

Details: Class size is limited.  Students attending the previous sessions will be given first chance to register for the next session.  Although all efforts will be made to be accommodating, space cannot be guaranteed to those registering out of order.  Class content is dynamic and based on the needs of the children in the class. The level of work will progressively increase through the summer. There will be no refunds for missed classes.
