Another great SCORE Seminar:

Record Keeping and Taxes

for Your Business

This seminar explains why business record keeping is important and clears up questions regarding taxation and the type of business formation you choose.  We’ll review various business accounting methods and explain which best fits your situation.  And we’ll answer some of your questions about those pesky records themselves both manual and computerized, how long should they be retained and things like “Do I really need a CPA, a bookkeeper or can I do it all effectively myself?”

We’ll review the four major business reports that make up a Financial Statement and how they relate to each other.  We’ll also have a few in-class discussion questions and, along the way, cover some accounting terms and offer some special tax tips.  You’ll learn the differences between Sole-Proprietorships, Partnerships, Corporations, and LLCs.

Originally scheduled for presentation at the SCORE office, the program will be held at the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, 1101 Broadway, Vancouver in order to allow additional seating.

This free seminar is offered by the SCORE Vancouver volunteers.  Seating is limited so please access the button below to reserve your seat.  Additionally,  you can follow-up with SCORE’s always-free individual business mentors.
