This networking event will explore one of the world's largest and most powerful companies—Amazon! Sumi Mukoyama of Beekeeper Marketing will guide business owners through the fundamentals of building strong foundations when selling on Amazon and using digital marketing tools to reach maximum potential. Topics will include how to sell on Amazon, how to increase discoverability, and how to set your products up for success on an eCommerce platform. Then connect & collaborate with fellow industry folks!

Sumi Mukoyama has 16+ years experience in the advertising industry, working specifically in the national cable television, digital video, and eCommerce marketing fields.  She has worked for many high-profile organizations including Scripps Networks, Turner Broadcasting, and Amazon, and is well-versed in discussing the traditional media landscape as well as digital programmatic platforms. She has been with Beekeeper Marketing since July 2016 and manages a team of 5 who coordinate the media and promotions side of the business for Beekeeper Marketing's clients. A native of Chicago, she is a graduate of Cornell University and currently resides in Seattle, WA with her husband and dog.

About Beekeeper Marketing
We are an experienced and savvy team of online marketing and management professionals with a passion for helping consumables companies succeed in a crowded online marketplace.

Beekeeper has been around since Amazon first started selling consumables online. Over the years, our relationships with Amazon have deepened and our business has grown organically through word of mouth from Amazon buyers and clients.

Today, we carefully curate our client roster so we can dive deep into every project and give it the personal attention it deserves. That's because we're not afraid of the nitty gritty. In fact, it's our ability to navigate the daily challenges and do the heavy lifting required to manage an online business that set us apart from others in the industry.

This seminar is produced by The Hatchery, a collaboration between ICNC and Accion Chicago to bring education, capital, and support to the Chicagoland food entrepreneur community. Food entrepreneurship programming is funded in part by:
