  The Achiever Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition!

All are encouraged and welcome to attend the Business Plan Competition presented by Friends of the Children-Boston and the Achiever Entrepreneurship Program! Meet the young entrepreneur teams, learn about their business ideas, and get involved in the competition by voting for your personal favorite business idea!

Friends of the Children-Boston (Friends-Boston) is a revolutionary organization with the mission of breaking the cycle of generational poverty by engaging children facing the highest risks in 12.5 years of transformative, professional mentoring relationships from kindergarten through high school graduation, no matter what.  Our model is courageous, our efforts are relentless and our outcomes are remarkable. In partnership with Santander Bank, our Achievers completed a 14-week Financial Literacy and Incentive Based Savings Program. A core component of the program was the entrepreneurship curriculum teaching the basic concepts of business development and what it means to be an entrepreneur.

On Saturday, June 24, 2017, event guests will have the opportunity to meet the young entrepreneurs, learn about their proposed businesses during the interactive gallery exhibit, and cast a vote for their favorite business ideas!  We invite you to then stay for the celebration and the announcement of the prize winners determined by our panel of esteemed judges and YOU!
