Summer 2017 Survivors Support Group

This 8-week group offers :

A space for 3-6 members who meet weekly, facilitated by a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in trauma therapy. The group will focus on psycho-education around the effects of trauma, coping skills, a sense of safe community to talk about struggles and successes you may be having, and flexibility to address group-specific needs as they arise.

Program Facilitator: Christine Springer has worked in the fields of crisis counseling, trauma, grief and loss for the past 16 years. She earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University in 2000 and has since worked for a number of organizations, including the Boulder City Police as a volunteer Victim Advocate, and for Blue Sky Bridge Child Advocacy Center. The majority of her current work takes place in private practice, leading groups, and providing psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, and art therapy.
