Creating relationships where we can give our advice to people and accept their advice is a critical resource for success in our careers. Feedback can make or break us. Leave this session with the skills to give feedback in a way that is empowering and the understanding of the importance of receiving feedback gracefully.

10:45am - 12:15pm Self-Motivation

The only one true person that can make us do something is ourselves. Take a journey on different perspectives that will support you in finding your wealth of motivation and how to tap into it effectively. Plant the roots today so you can start blossoming tomorrow.

1:30pm - 3:00pm Advocating with Drs, families, teams and legislators

Advocating can be one of our most important duties in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Everyone can come to this class and learn the ins and outs of advocating with Drs, Case Managers, Family Members, Legislators and other people in the community. Create tools to advocate WITH the person you are supporting, making their voice heard and their wants clear.
