Summer MK Pilates Reformer Stage One

The MK Pilates Reformer Stage One is the start of your equipment training and is where we introduced you to the foundation movements and an intermediate repertoire from the MK Pilates Reformer movements.

Course Hours: 32 lecture hours, Minimum 8 case study hours.
Prerequisite: Completion of the MK Pilates Stage 1 Matwork (or equivalent from other schools)
Course Tutors: Michael King & Malcolm Muirhead
Cost: £700.00

Course materials are provided online via your MK Pilates student account and you will have a repertoire of reformer equipment movements to be able to achieve an appropriate and practical programme for levels of clients.

Upon completion of the training you will have recommended maximum of three months to complete and present one case study along with the practical assessment.  Both written and practical assessment materials are required prior to your Certificate of Achievement being issued. The case study consists of taking a client for eight sessions and videoing the final session for assessment.  What must also be included is a postural assessment, programme plan, a final evaluation for the client and finally your own written evaluation of your video assessment session.

This is an intensive course, the last day of which will be Pilates Labs, when you will see a client and receive feedback on your performance from a course tutor.
