Have you ever wanted to paint a landscape or capture a beautiful vista? Needle-felting offers a textural, three-dimensional way to bring them to life.
Visiting artist, Elizabeth Moldenhauer, will share her techniques for creating felt paintings. Using a pre-felt base, wool roving, and a photo of your choice, you will learn painterly, impressionist techniques to transform your photo into your own work of art. She will also share ways in which you can use other embellishments such as beads, fabric, weaving, and other fibers to create a mixed media piece.
This is a two session class. The first session is Tuesday, July 18th from 5:30-7:30pm. The second session is Tuesday, August 1st from 5:30-7:30. Both sessions are included in the class fee.
