Delaware River Basin,                    Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) Associates Workshop

The CREP Outreach Program Office is hosting a free Workshop for CREP Associates and Partners on August 22, 2017 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. This workshop is primarily for staff from agencies and organizations in the Delaware River Basin (DRB) who work with CREP or who may promote or recommend CREP in the course of their other work duties  Staff from Conservation Districts, DEP, PSU Extension, FSU, NRCS, PGC and others are the primary intended audience.  Space permitting, support organization staff from land conservancies, watershed groups and similar organizations may attend.  

Participants will leave with a good understanding of CREP and will be able to explain the program to anyone who may be a good candidate for the program.  They will be able to answer inquires about the program and direct potential CREP participants to the appropriate agency or individual.  The goal is to have knowledgeable  staff in agencies thoughout the DRB to assist interested landowners and to encourage the installation CREP conservation practices.

This is a free workshop;  lunch is provided.  Registration is required.  Seating is limited and will be cut off when the maximum attendance is met.
