Ever wanted to knit socks but were too intimidated by the prospect of tackling a pair? This is the workshop series for you! Laurie and Bree will take you through the complete anatomy of a sock as well as help you find the method that works for you.
Session 1: Sunday, July 16th: Will focus on sock anatomy, the knitting method that best suits you, and casting on for the cuff/leg.
Session 2: Sunday, July 30th: Will focus on heels - everything you need to know about knitting the flap, turning the heel and picking up gusset stitches.
Session 3: Sunday, August 13th: Will focus on toes - decreases and kitchener stitch. Laurie and Bree will also share their tips for avoiding SSS (Second Sock Syndrome).
Materials can be bought during the break in session 1, once you've established which knitting method works for you.
