The Storm Trysail Foundation, and host, Raritan Yacht Club invite you to attend a Jr. Safety @ Sea Seminar. This Hands-on seminar is suited for juniors with big boat experience as well as juniors with limited experience. The day will be outlined with classroom instruction, dockside demonstrations and on the water practice & drills, in boats ranging from 30 to 40 feet.
The lead instructors, who have specialized training, extensive heavy weather experience and have sailed tens of thousands offshore miles, will lead the day with the following topics:
Crew Organization ~ Big boat equipment and skills ~ Storm preparation ~ Crew overboard recovery ~ Safety gear ~ Flare use ~
Life raft deployment & use ~ VHF radio.

Who: Participants ages 13-18. All Juniors MUST be accomanied by
an adult coach or supervisor.
Price: $38.00. Paypal is preferred, but checks are accepted - please indicate
on the payment section of the online registration form. Please make checks payable to Storm Trysail Foundation.
NO CASH will be accepted at the door.
~ Morning donuts, lunch and,
end of the day Ice Cream Party are included in the price.
* All Juniors must wear boating shoes and bring sun block.
Water will be provided for on-the-water sessions
*PLEASE bring your own re-fillable WATER BOTTLE.
