David began his career in commercial real estate in New York where he was the project manager for the 443 Greenwich Street project.  He managed all phases of the $350 million dollar, 280,000 sq. ft. project which included a high end residential community, a boutique hotel, and ground floor retail space in Manhattan. 

David continued to expand his real estate knowledge and became Real Estate Advisor at Alvarez & Marsal in San Francisco.  He advised private equity real estate firms, REITS, real estate operating companies, developers, and multi-national corporations all over the world.  David transferred to the Los Angeles market in 2013 and became the Real Estate Manager for the west coast real estate operations of Pure Barre, a national gym chain.  While there he targeted corporate expansion in the California, Oregon, and Washington markets.

Prior to Sperry Commercial, David worked as a Broker for KW Commercial, Mac Vaugh & Co. and Coldwell Banker where he focused on the San Gabriel Valley and Downtown LA markets.  He managed office, retail and mixed use listings across the greater Los Angeles area and represented numerous buyers and tenants.

David graduated from UCLA in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures.  He received his Masters of Real Business Administration and Real Estate Development in 2011 from the University of Southern California.  He is also fluent in Mandarin and teaches a Commercial Real Estate course at Pasadena City College and the Arcadia Association of REALTORS®.
