Building Better Business Partnerships for your District

Academic and Career Planning, Career and Technical Education and Education for Employment are just a few of the initiatives in K-12 that call for employer engagement. However, developing strong, sustainable employer partnerships that yield high quality experiences for both students and employers are not always easy to develop or maintain.

In this workshop you will hear from employers who have established partnerships with local school districts.

Objectives:

  • Understand what employers look for and expect when developing partnerships with schools
  • Learn best practice tips for engaging with employers
  • Create a school plan to launch or improve employer outreach efforts
  • Discover how to use Inspire as a tool that will support your employer engagement efforts

Team planning time will be incorporated so that you will have actionable next steps to bring back to your school or district.

Audience: Teachers, Counselors and Administrators who are engaged in employer outreach.  Not limited to Inspire users (but there will be a section at the end that will discuss Inspire implications)

Confirmed Panel Presenters:
To be announced
