Ocean Cruising Seminar 2018

in Guildford, UK

in association with

The Ocean Cruising Seminar covers a variety of subjects associated with the planning and preparation required for an offshore passage or round the world voyage. Lecturers have been chosen for their knowledge and experience in their specialist fields. Special emphasis will be on the ARC and World ARC and what to expect in terms of weather and equipment issues, but anyone interested in offshore sailing will benefit from the weekend.

The weekend will comprise a series of presentations made by industry experts, with opportunities for one-to-one discussions. A select number of companies will provide a mini exhibition of relevant equipment and services, with the opportunity to discuss insurance, liferafts and other useful issues.

There will be around 50-70 participants, and as we know there is lots of benefit in meeting fellow cruisers, lunch breaks and dinners have been arranged to facilitate mingling and discussions.

Seminar fee is 575 for one person with hotel accommodation for 2 nights and meals.
A second person on the same booking, sharing a room and booked at the same time is 375.
Seminar fee with no hotel accommodation is 425.

There is a 25 per person discount for bookings made before 30 September 2017.

Fee includes accommodation for 2 nights and meals - see below for full conditions. Guest rates are available for partners not attending the seminars.

The Ocean Cruising Seminar will begin at 1:15pm on Friday 16 March, and finish around 3pm on Sunday 18 March. Dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and lunch on Saturday and Sunday are included in the seminar cost.
