About Operation P.E.A.C.E. and Mental Fitness

Operation P.E.A.C.E. wants families to be healthy and equipped with the life skills, educational support and community resources to be resilient.  Our mission is to support and empower families to be economically self-sufficient; nurture academic excellence and teach life skills to youth; and encourage seniors to be active and remain a vital part of the community.  Operation P.E.A.C.E. serves more than 150 students in the Old Fourth Ward each year, providing positive adult interactions and academic support through homework club, afterschool, and summer experiences.

Mental Fitness aims to become the afterschool program, in-school field trip and STEAM teacher training provider of choice for those students, parents and administrators in the Metro Atlanta area.  Our mission is to provide students, parents, and the community with authentic 21st Century Learning with a STEAM focus.  Mental Fitness serves hundreds of students throughout Atlanta and South Fulton with camp, after-school, and school-day experiences.  Mental Fitness uses STEAM professionals and materials to increase the awareness, familiarity, and comfort level of students, specifically focusing in underserved areas.  The goal is more students choosing college majors, careers or entrepreneurial pursuits that lead to high-paying and high-demand STEM career fields.
