The Purl Stitch and Texture--The Basics Series w/Maureen--July 18 6-7:30pm 

Join us for the second installment of The Basics Series! You will learn how to make the purl stitch and how to combine it with the knit stitch to create stunning textures and patterns. You will be given a pattern for a sampler scarf to practice your skills on.

Knit and purl are the foundations for all knitting. Learn these two things and how to combine them and you will be able to create stunning pieces!

This class is part of our Basics Series, a begin to knit series that is broken into four different classes that you can jump into and out of as your schedule allows. Join us for next week's technique on how to knit in the round on circular needles! 

Materials: Size 7 straight needles, 200-400 yards of worsted weight yarn in a colorway that isn't super busy (suggested but not limited to, Encore Worsted, Deluxe Worsted Superwash, Shelter, Laramie, Ultra Alpaca worsted)

Prerequisite Skills: Basic cast on, knit stitch, basic cast off 

Fee: $15, includes pattern and 10% off all class supplies purchased at Cowgirl Yarn
