The Compassionate Friends RVA
2017 Walk to Remember

When someone we love dies, life as we know it is never the same.  We learn to cherish the ways in which we can remember and honor them.  The Compassionate Friends RVA Walk to Remember was created as a symbolic way to show the love we carry for our children, siblings, grandchildren, spouses, parents, relatives, friends, coworkers and loved ones!

Please join us as we celebrate their lives, cherish our memories and ensure they are never forgotten.

Guest Speaker

We are honored to have Anna Whiston-Donaldson as our speaker this year.

Anna is a popular author and speaker whose New York Times bestselling book, Rare Bird: A Memoir of Loss and Love chronicles the raw, early grief of losing her 12 year old son Jack in an accident. Anna is also the author of the An Inch of Gray blog.  Anna has a special connection with one of our chapter members.
