Parents and children have much to consider as they start a new school year, especially the beginning of high school. Students with learning disabilities and ADHD have the added stress of making sure they have appropriate technology to support the rigor of the high school workload. When a student has tools to accommodate organization, planning, reading comprehension, written output, and memory aids, anxiety is reduced, and confidence soars.
Barbara Hunter, Springer's Technology Integration Specialist, invites parents and their entering 9th or 10th grade students, to attend this session designed to familiarize the family on what tech tools are available to support struggling learners on a Google, Apple, or Windows platform.
