Celebrating Abilities 2017

 

FREE ADMISSION TO EVENT!
(Film screening and after-party require ticket purchase)

This year featuring the award-winning short film "Learning to Drive."

Join us for a day-long celebration at Century High School that includes activities for all ages, including food, games, silent auction, film screening and after-party with director and cast. 

The event seeks to provide a unique and fun way to call attention to the remarkable accomplishments of persons with disabilities in our communities.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Family Activities: Noon – 4:00 PM
  • Silent auction (final bids begin closing @ 3:30 PM)
  • Raffle basket drawings throughout the day
  • Food & beverages
  • Face painting, henna, driving challenge and more
  • “Learning to Drive” photo booth
  • Miss Minnesota photo booth
  • Police K-9 demonstration (1:00 – 3:00 PM)
  • Massage table (1:00 – 3:00 PM)
  • Display tables featuring ABC partner businesses & organizations

Activities in Auditorium: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • A Celebration of Abilities with personal stories
  • Film screening of “Learning to Drive” followed by Q & A with director and lead actor (ticket required: $10 adults, $7 students and seniors) 
  • Announcement of auction winners

Post Film Activities: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Auction items pick-up
  • Memorabilia sales
  • After-party with director and actor in private room (ticket required: $25)

FREE ADMISSION TO EVENT!

Advance tickets to film screening: $10 adults, $7 students and seniors.
After-party admission: $25.
