About the Community:
Tavara Ridge featured homes in Plantation, Santa Barbara, and California Ranch architectural styles. The two-story, single family homes with up to 5 bedrooms were designed around a centrally located great room with functional areas for cooking, dining, and entertaining. Tavara Ridge was once home to the Stevenson School which CalAtlantic Homes purchased from the San Diego Unified school district. The legacy of the Stevenson School lives on in some of the educational materials and infrastructure like desks which have found a new home next door at Maria Montessori. CalAtlantic Homes gave a portion of its property for the benefit of the Maria Montessori school and its students.

Directions:
Tavara Ridge is located at 3634 Tavara Circle in San Diego. To visit from I-5, exit Balboa Avenue and head east; turn left on Clairemont Drive; left on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard; left on Pocahontas Avenue. From CA-52 west, take exit 1B for Regents Road and turn left; continue on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard; turn right on Pocahontas Avenue. Tavara Ridge is located a few blocks down on the right.
