Dallas Ambush 7/7/16

Pablo Escobar - Dismantling the Medellin Cartel
Imagine, you are in a foreign country tasked with advising and coordinating 600 people from various organizations who are responsible for pursuing the world's wealthiest and most violent criminal and his organization; and you must perform your duties with a $300,000 bounty on your head. One wrong decision has the potential to result in serious injury, or even death, to those who serve and protect the public. Javier Pena and Steve Murphy share their experiences while assigned as the lead DEA agents chasing Pablo Escobar in Columbia, South America. These true American heroes provide a lesson in history as they discuss their efforts bringing down the world's first narco-terrorist, the challenges they faced in oftentimes hostile and life-threatening environments, and the innovative strategies they employed to successfully end the reign of terror of the world's most wanted criminal. Javier and Steve use humor and rarely seen visuals to entertain and enlighten audiences. Their presentation is followed by a Q&A opportunity during which Javier and Steve will entertain questions related to their investigation, the making of Narcos and Facing Escobar, and more.
