2017's Meet the Funders

Washington County Nonprofit Network's Signature Event: an opportunity to meet with funders from around the region!

Programming:

Pre-Event Conference Call. Includes tips from the organizers and funders. (Will be recorded so you can listen to when convenient)

9:00 – 10:15 am: Pick your workshop around collaboration!

  Option 1: This hands-on workshop explores a range of collaborative approaches, the ingredients of success, and pitfalls to avoid.  You’ll have a chance to consider the strengths your organization could bring to the collective table for greater mission impact. Speaker: Allison Handler at Solid Ground Consulting.

  Option 2 :  This workshop will provide an overview of why networks are such a powerful tool for achieving transformational change and outline principles, processes, and structures that enable them to succeed.  It will also show how to strengthen existing collaborative efforts to achieve greater levels of impact. Speaker: David Sawyer of Converge.

12:30 – 2:00 (1.5 hours) Post-Event workshop that includes lunch: “How do I do all this!?” Hear from the movers and shakers in the Portland Metro area about their lessons learned after decades in the sector.  Separate registration fee, register here

Cost: $25.00 for Nonprofits that predominantly serve Washington County, $35 for others. Cost will increase by $10 on September 1.
