Leading Change

The Virginia Health Care Foundation is partnering with the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the Virginia Community Healthcare Association to present a two-day program called Leading Change, September 25-26, 2017 at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, VA.

As so many health safety net leaders are striving to lead their organizations through uncertain and changing times, Leading Change will provide Health Safety Net Executive Directors with many "aha" moments, as well as techniques and skills to eliminate or minimize the pain that so often accompanies change.

Key topics will include the process of change, communicating change, resistance to change, and roles during change. Participants will:

  • Learn how to implement change on time and within budget;
  • Understand the dynamics of change, and why change is so difficult to achieve in organizations today; and
  • Learn concepts, principles and tools that will insure the successful implementation of a change initiative.

All health safety net executive directors are eligible to register for this program. Registration is $50 and includes meals. Register today or contact Cat Hulburt by email or via phone at (804) 525-1483 for more information.

Leading Change is made possible through a generous donation from the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation.
