Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group Meeting

Please join us for the fifth meeting of the Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group, providing a forum for public and private organizations and individuals to collaborate and share ideas, lessons learned, and other information to promote successful habitat conservation along rights-of-way and other managed landscapes. The meeting will once again be hosted by the Energy Resources Center at the University of Illinois-Chicago campus. We gladly invite participation from across the utility, transportation, non-profit, academic, and government sectors.

Day 1 October 26
Case studies, program updates, and other technical presentations with a focus on creating the business case for habitat programs: demonstrating cost savings, reducing regulatory impacts, supporting invasive species management, providing ecosystem benefits, and building public support.

Day 2 October 27
In-depth breakout discussions on a variety of topics, including habitat metrics and targets, geospatial database development, cost effective seed, adaptive management.

View the AGENDA for more details.

Individual registration costs for the two-day meeting are as follows:

  • $135 for working group meeting and networking dinner at Greek Islands on Thursday evening
  • $100 for working group meeting only
  • $40 for webinar access (excluding breakout discussions)

Please register by October 18 in order to guarantee your spot in person. Registration for webinar access will remain open until October 23.
