Transforming Nonprofit Business Models

This training is designed to illuminate the connection between your mission and your business model. You will learn about the four core components to a nonprofit business model: revenue mix, understanding the cost of effective programs, infrastructure, and capital structure. You will understand how all of these components come together to impact your organization’s health and adaptability for change.

Presented by Allison Wagstrom, Portfolio Manager for the Nonprofit Assistance Fund. Allison brings a passion for nonprofit finance and a background in lending. Previously, Allison served as the Associate Director of the League of Women Voters Minnesota where she brought her leadership to overseeing the administrative and financial aspects of the organization. In addition, she managed LWV’s flagship education programs including statewide and federal election education work. Allison was the Operations Director for Faith’s Lodge. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, she served as a loan underwriter/processor for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Following her graduation from De Pauw University, Allison taught fourth grade in Houston, Texas as a member of Teach for America.
