Up and Coming 2018

Friday March 16 - Saturday March 17, 2018 with optional in-depth workshops and tours on Thursday, March 15.

2018 marks the 9th year for Up and Coming.  The conference focuses on giving groups the tools they need to build a strong foundation for success.  More workshops and presenters will be available than ever before.

Up and Coming 2018 takes place at the InterContinental Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Coordinated by the Indiana Cooperative Development Center and the Food Co-op Initiative.  Our host food co-op is Outpost Natural Foods.

What's Included in Registration?

Full conference registration provides full access to the two-day Up & Coming conference and includes:

 Welcome Reception hosted and sponsored by Outpost Natural Foods - Thursday, March 15th

• All educational sessions (general sessions and breakout sessions)
• Breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday
• Networking breaks 
• Friday night Reception – Friday, March 16th
• Conference materials which include conference bag, badge, and program book
• Dropbox access to conference presentation materials

 Single Day - Friday registration includes:

• All education sessions (general sessions and breakout sessions) on Friday
• Breakfast and lunch on Friday
• Networking breaks on Friday
• Friday night reception
• Conference materials which include conference bag, badge, and program book

 Single Day - Saturday registration includes:

• All education sessions (general sessions and breakout sessions) on Saturday

Late Fee:  All registrations after February 23, 2018, including on-site registrations will be assessed a late fee of $50 for full conference registration and $25 for one day registrations (except for Thursday workshops and tours).

Cancellation Policy:  Conference registrants cancelling their registration on or before March 1, 2018 will receive a refund of the conference registration fee, less a $50 administration fee. Cancellations and refunds must be requested in writing to Deb Trocha at dtrocha@icdc.coop. Refunds are not provided for guests who do not attend the conference. No refunds will be issued after March 1, 2018.  Substitutions are accepted at any time prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. It is highly recommended that substitutions are completed by March 8, 2018 to ensure conference credentials will be ready upon the start of the conference.

ICDC will charge attendees a $25.00 returned check fee to cover the administrative cost.

Lodging:  A block of rooms and a special rate of $129 + tax has been set up at the Interncontinenal Milwaukee, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202.  Self parking is $28; valet parking is $32. Conference t-shirt:  The deadline to purchase a conference t-shirt has expired and the t-shirts can no longer be ordered.  No t-shirts will be available for purchase at the conference. 

Media Waiver: By registering for the Up & Coming 2018 conference you give the Indiana Cooperative Development Center (ICDC) permission, in connection with any photographs and/or video taken during said conference of yourself and all delegates you are registering, the right to use and reuse, in any manner at all, photographs and/or video in whole or in part, either by themselves or in conjunction with other photographs and/or video, in any print or electronic (Internet) media and for any purposes whatsoever, including without limitation, all promotional or publicity uses. Further, you release ICDC, its officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all claims, action, and demands arising out of or in conjunction with the taking and use of said photographs and/or video.

On-site registration will be located at the Intercontinental, 2nd Floor and be open the following hours:

Thursday, March 15    11:00 a.m. -   5:00 p.m.
Friday, March 16           8:00 a.m. -   5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 17       8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
