Financial Projections Made Easy

If you don’t feel confident forecasting your business’ finances, regardless of how long you’ve run your company, this workshop is the answer.   It is especially useful for start-ups, which don’t have a financial history.

Financial Projections Made Easy explains the specific steps to complete the entire forecasting process, focusing on the user-friendly template created by SCORE LA to help determine the financial viability of your business.

This workshop shows how to determine and manage the month-by-month cash flow and provides attendees examples of financial projections tailored to their own companies.  Attendees are shown how to calculate the amount of cash they need to run their companies.

 What You Will Learn

  • How to forecast with or without historical data
  • What you can do inside your company to better manage cash flow
  • How to operate with suppliers, lenders and customers to improve cash flow
  • A painless process for creating financial projections, a must for any business plan

John was incredibly helpful. I have been flying blind and now I have a tool that will help me project my finances and cash flow.”                             -Craig M.

Instructor: John Doyle

New John Doyle

For more than 40 years, John Doyle worked in commercial banking, starting as a branch manager and advancing to division manager. Through this position, he grew to know the operations of small and medium-size companies that did business at more than 100 branches throughout California and Wisconsin. During his lengthy financial career, Mr. Doyle also created the first variable-rate, check-secured line of credit in the United States.

Under Antonio Villaraigosa’s tenure as mayor of Los Angeles, Mr. Doyle served on the city’s Small Business Advisory Committee. On this panel, he helped create a portal to help small businesses navigate L.A.’s permitting and regulatory environment.
