Civic Engagement Workshop at Central Library

The Civic Engagement Workshop is a community program that includes short presentations and several interactive activities and discussions. We highlight the personal rewards and health benefits of civic engagement and help participants affirm the causes they care about, and how they want to make a difference. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created their own personal action plan for civic engagement, and they’ll have an opportunity to share with the group as they wish. SAGE also highlights meaningful service roles with over 21 nonprofit partners that advance educational, environmental and economic security causes.
