Tour of
Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

A global leader in coffee, Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA is headquartered in Treviso, Italy.  It is among the world's largest coffee companies with over $1.2 billion annual revenue (group and subsidiaries), 52 operating companies, and 15 roasting facilities worldwide.  As a vertically integrated coffee business, Massimo Zanetti is a grower and processor, green coffee trader, manufacturer of espresso and coffee equipment, distributor/marketer of brands in over 100 countries (Kauai Coffee, Hills Bros., MJB, and Chase & Sanborn just to name a few) and a global cafe franchisor.

Join NJ IFMA at the Food Service Center of Excellence & Roasting Plant to experience a commercial coffee manufacturing facility and see how coffee is moved through each step of the process to produce a coffee that is perfect in the cup.  The presentation will include the importance of sourcing the best green beans, how and why cupping is so critical for consistent quality and how the master roasters are able to roast coffee precisely to bring out its best flavor characteristics.

After the tour, there will be an opportunity to sample unique coffee using the most on-trend brewing methods such as chemex pour over, cold brew and NITRO coffees.

Philanthropy Project - Good Nights and Good Days
NJ IFMA wants every child to feel the love and comfort that lets them escape into peaceful sleep and to awaken empowered with the energy and resilience that can change every one of their days for the better.  This can be accomplished with the magical gifts of pajamas and books, ordinary objects that transform bedtime into a ritual of love, warmth, imagination and fun.

Please bring either a new pair of pajamas and/or a new children's bedtime storybook to the September meeting.

Check out the website www.pajamaprogram.org and be prepared to be touched by this great group and their good work.
