About our Presenters:
Hennie Viljoen works for Deloitte on the CIPCs XBRL Programme as XBRL Programme Manager. His responsibility is to manage all aspects of the programme. This includes change management and communication with all stakeholders as well as the technical development and implementation of a XBRL Reporting Platform interfacing with all qualified client companies.

After Hennie completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science & Mathematics from the University of Johannesburg, he had been involved in application development ranging from mathematical software to large corporate applications. He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Information Systems Management (ACISM) from the University of Pretoria, and has held management positions for around 13 years. These include Senior Portfolio Manager of Business Solutions at the Financial Services Board (FSB) where he also represented the FSB on the board of XBRL South Africa. After his tenure at the FSB, Hennie worked for SABMiller as Governance Consultant, and now for Deloitte as Programme Manager of the CIPCs XBRL Programme. 

With over 45 years of experience in information technology, Hugh Wallis is currently Senior XBRL Analyst with particular responsibility for the Enterprise Disclosure Management product line, concentrating on regulatory reporting mandates. He has been part of the XBRL world since its genesis in late 1999 and served as an "At Large" member and Vice-Chair of the XBRL International Steering Committee, Chair of the XBRL Specification Working Group, Chair of the XBRL-GL Working Group and Chair of the XBRL Canada  Domain/Taxonomy Working Group.  

In 2006 he became the first staff member of XBRL International Inc. (XII) in the role of Director of Technology  Standards where he had overall technical responsibility for standards. At XII he put in place a robust standards development methodology and process for the entire suite of XBRL specifications. 

His software development experience has covered fields as diverse as Finite-Element Stress Analysis, Transportation Vehicle and Operator Scheduling, Compiler Development, Operational and Financial Business Modelling, Business Analytics leveraging the power of Multidimensional (OLAP) Databases, and Business Reporting.

He holds an M.A. degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London.

Sunet Leimecke is the Synergy FPM Solutions Manager in Johannesburg,  leading a team of FPM consultants. She has 10 years experience in this field and is actively involved in the BETA testing of the FPM products with IBM.  Sunet has been responsible for delivering the reporting solutions on CDM since 2012.
 
Sunet qualified as a Chartered Account in 1998 after completing her articles at a firm in Pretoria, after which she worked at Grant Thornton for 8 years where she was responsible for the auditing and preparation of annual financial statements. Since then Sunet has worked on performance management tools. Sunet lives in Pretoria with her husband and two girls.
