This historic landmark building allows us to accommodate everyone who would like to attend.  Invite your friends, family and neighbors to celebrate the Jewish New Year with Nashuva.  But we need you to reserve and donate now!

All High Holy Day services - except for Tashlich and the 2nd Day of Rosh Hashanah (at Temescal Canyon) - will be held at the Founder's Church of Religious Science.

Nashuva does not charge admission for any of its services.  The suggested minimum donation for attendance at the High Holy Day services is $350 per person.  Nashuva relies on High Holy Day donations to support year round programs.  Please give from your heart.

If you've been moved by Nashuva on Shabbat, the High Holy Days with Nashuva will take you deeper and higher.   Please join us as we welcome the Jewish New Year!

We welcome everyone, but we invite you to support Nashuva at the High Holy Days by making a donation when you reserve your space.

We suggest a voluntary minimum donation of $350 per person.  We hope you will consider a higher amount to show your support and commitment to Nashuva.

Please understand that we are trying to ensure that Nashuva remain a special community and that it continue to offer a unique setting for spiritual awakening. Although we will not turn anyone away who cannot afford the $350 donation (tax deductible as allowed by law), we encourage you to donate to the best of your ability. Please note that it is very important that everyone complete the attached High Holy Days reservation form so that we have an indication of how many people we'll have over the Holy Days. 

Once again this year, Nashuva is offering a Pre-Yom Kippur Meal at Founder's Church to ease the stress of preparing and cleaning up a meal before Kol Nidre.

We will have an amazing children's program with the Zimmer Children's Museum by reservation only. Parents please register your children if you'd like to reserve a space for your child.  Our childcare program is available for morning services only. There will be no childcare for evening services.  Child Care is $20.00 per child, per service.

  Casual Attire

If you own a Tallit (prayer shawl), please bring it to morning services and to all Yom Kippur services.  If you do not own a tallit, buy yourself a gift this year and see how wonderful it feels to be sheltered beneath its wings.

Dress is casual for all Nashuva services, but we encourage you to come in white in honor of the Holy Days.

  Parking & Misc.

FOUNDER'S CHURCH PARKING:

For your convenience, valet parking will be available at a rate of $10 CASH per car, per service.  (Neila valet is only $5 additional for those who use valet on Yom Kippur morning.)  This fee includes tip.  Please note that ONLY CASH will be accepted.

The valet parking drop-off and pick-up will be on New Hampshire - approximately 100 feet north of 6th Street - on the west side of New Hampshire.  Look for signs and valets.

In addition, "relaxed" street parking has been arranged for the area surrounding the Founder's Church.  During our services, there will be no parking enforcement for meters, time limits and preferential parking in the area bounded by:

BEVERLY BLVD. to OLYMPIC BLVD. and WESTERN AVE. to HOOVER ST.

Founder's Church of Religious Science is a non-smoking facility.

TEMESCAL CANYON PARKING:

Parking vouchers will be available at Temescal Canyon Park on a first come, first served basis. 

PLEASE NOTE:  You must display a parking voucher or pay for parking or your vehicle will be subject to ticketing.

TASHLICH PARKING:

Immediately adjacent to our Tashlich service, there is a County parking lot.  There are also several private lots nearby.  Parking fees will apply.

    Torah or Haftorah Reading?

If you know how to read Torah or Haftorah and would like to participate in one of our services, please contact us at highholydays@nashuva.com so that we can include you in our readings for the High Holy Days!
