Just a reminder, we will not be printing the Executive Summaries to put in the packets at the Annual Awards Celebration. This will help keep our printing costs down and is also more in line with our Environment. Preservatiom & Recreation Focus Area. Members, please review the Executive Summaries found on our website in the "Members Only" section. For login info please contact 513-554-3065 or administration@impact100.org.
All members of Impact 100 must insure that no personal or professional self-interest interferes with their work on behalf of Impact 100. In other words, all members must make sure that they do not a have a conflict of interest when they are participating in Impact 100 work or business. A potential conflict of interest can arise in situations when a member, or someone in a member’s immediate family, would personally gain, either financially or professionally, from an action taken by Impact 100. For example, if an Impact 100 member would receive a job or a business contract if a certain nonprofit receives an Impact 100 grant, then that member has a potential conflict of interest.
It is important for members to realize that simply serving on the board of a nonprofit that has applied for or may apply for a grant from Impact 100 does not create a conflict of interest. It is only in the situation in which a member would personally profit from the grant being given to the nonprofit that a conflict potentially arises.
If there is a real or potential conflict of interest, it is the member’s obligation to immediately notify the Board in writing of such conflict.
If you are not able to attend or your plans have changed since making your reservation and you are no longer able to join us, we still value your vote! To ensure you are represented, we encourage you to vote absentee online. Prior to submitting your absentee vote, we ask that you read the Executive Summary links below so that you are familiar with each grant proposal.
Absentee voting will close Sunday, September 10th, 2017 at midnight EST. If you do end up attending and casting a vote at the AAC on September 12th, the vote recorded online will be invalidated and your vote on September 12th will be recorded. All votes are compiled and audited by an independent auditor. Absentee votes will be delivered though this link to our auditor, who will tabulate them with the live votes on September 12th at the Annual Awards Celebration.
