The Topeka Valley of the Scottish Rite has operated a Charity Golf Tournament annually since 2007. 100 percent of the money raised at the RiteCareŽ Golf Tournament, goes directly for the benefit of Schiefelbush clinic at K.U. and the Speech & Hearing clinic a KSU.
The Topeka RiteCareŽ Foundation provides funding to Kansas speech, language, and hearing clinics at our universities to offset the costs incurred by children being enriched by the speech, language, and hearing program; purchasing necessary equipment for use; and providing graduate student scholarships to train future Kansas speech, language, and hearing clinicians.
Last year’s very successful Topeka Valley Golf Tournament allowed the Topeka RiteCareŽ Foundation to fund a $5,000 Graduate Student Scholarship at KU and an early speech development intervention program for toddlers at both KU and KSU during the summer months
