Wesley Village Ribbon-cutting Celebration

Wesley Village is an innovative, adaptive reuse of church property in Garden Grove that features multigenerational affordable housing and expanded services in collaboration with local community partners. The redesigned church campus includes the addition of a family apartment building, senior apartment building and Head Start learning center.

Through a unique partnership with the Garden Grove United Methodist Church, Jamboree entered into a 60-year ground lease with the church, repurposing 2.2 acres of excess parking space and unused vacant land, that will provide ongoing financial support for the church’s charitable activities.

With a focus on partnerships by Jamboree's Community Impact Group, a large community center accommodates a health clinic, computer center, library, and multipurpose rooms accessible to a growing network of local community service providers to help integrate Jamboree’s life-enhancing services into the entire neighborhood. 

In Jamboree’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, Wesley Village is designed to achieve a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) for Homes certified Gold rating.
