Out-of-School Whole Day Camp 

The kids will prepare a Chia Fruit Smoothie for a morning snack. They will make their Cheesy Broccoli and Quinoa Casserole and a Seasonal Salad for lunch. To finish the day, they will bake Whole Wheat Soft Pretzels. Loads of learning and kitchen fun for whole day!

This camp is a hands-on cooking experience for your child(ren) to learn fundamentals of healthy eating, basic cooking and kitchen safety, prepare recipes together and eat their culinary creations. All food and water is provided. Each camp has a minimum of 4 participants and maximum of 12. Our breaks will be taken weather permitting.

Please note:

1. The cooking class is not an allergy free zone.  We will make every effort to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities in recipes.

2. All participants must wear indoor close-toed shoes and pull back long hair.

3. Payment is due at time of registration.

4. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your class. Late fees will be charged at $15 per 10 minutes late.

5.  Registrations cancelled 30 days prior to class may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations received less than 30 days and more than 14 days prior to the class may be eligible for a credit. 

6.  Parents or guardians acknowledge the Waiver and Release Form when completing payment for the class.  

7.  Participants will work in groups to prepare food.

8.  Participants will work in the kitchen, and visit the courtyard at South Health Campus.

9.  Have fun and be safe.  Failure to comply with kitchen rules and policies may result in removal from the class without a refund.
