2017 AIHEC Fall Board of Directors Meeting

The 2017 AIHEC Fall Board of Directors Meeting will be held at the Hilton Grand Vacations at Tuscany Village in Orlando, FL on October 4-6.  Please note that only three meetings will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 4: AIHEC Research Committee, Athletic Commission, and Executive Committee.  All other committees (and the AIHEC Student Congress (ASC)) will meet on Thursday, Oct. 5. The Board meeting (and ASC) will convene all day on Friday, Oct. 6.  Immediately following the Board meeting, we will hold our third annual 1.5 day TCU-GISS Institute, Future Forward, Building the Board Legacy. We hope that you and members of your governing board are planning to join us for this important board training session, held in partnership with ACCT.  

Please remember that you must register seperately for the TCU GISS Institute. Be sure to check the AIHEC website calendar for the link to the TCU-GISS Institute registration page and for the most up-to-date schedule of events for our board meeting.

Please note: It is very important to register ALL participants for this meeting. Each TCU may bring up to TWO participants without incurring a registration fee. The AIHEC Board of Directors approved a motion at the 2016 fall meeting to implement a registration fee for each additional participant beyond two per TCU.  A registration fee of $150, to help cover the costs of meals provided, will be assessed for each participants over 2/TCU. TCUs registering additional participants will receive an electronic invoice upon registration.  There is no fee for the TCU-GISS 3.0 Institute, and you may bring as many board members as you would like to the training.

Average Weather:  Orlando's average highs are in the mid- to upper-80s in early October.  Lows average 70 degrees.
