The CREP Outreach Program Office is hosting two free workshops to introduce the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) program to Landowners and Ag Producers. Attendees will leave this workshop with a solid understanding of CREP and if they are a good candidate for the program. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and to explain how to proceed with the application process.
CREP is a partnership among landowners, state and federal governments and private organizations that conserves envrionmentally sensitive land. It is administered by the USDA Farm Service Agency with technical support from the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Landowners can expect to see improved water quality and enhanced wildlife habitate, while receiving reliable income on marginally productive land next to creeks and other water bodies.
