Missionary Disciple Formation Program

Going Forth in Joy!

We the Church are called to embody the love of God in and for a world in need.

Join us for our Going Forth in Joy! Missionary Disciple Formation Program,   a weekend of encounter, discernment and formation for living the Gospel
within and beyond the walls of your parish, school or office!

This program provides Catholic ministers and educators the knowledge, skills, and resources to better help their communities go forth as agents of encounter and positive Christian change. Program includes four sessions over three evenings:

  • Our Call: God's Mission of Love
  • Our Story: The Mission in Scripture and History
  • Our Moment: Living the Mission Today
  • Our Commissioning: Going Forth and Forming Other

    CE Hours and Certificate available


Meals are provided and overnight accommodations available

For those requesting accommodations: A suggested donation of $150.00 to cover the costs of food, lodging and materials for those staying overnight 

For those commuting:A suggested donation of $60.00 for commuters to cover the cost of food and materials 

We understand the financial constraints on those working for the Church or those not able to make a donation.  Financial assistance may be available.  Please call Deacon Paul for more information.  Hope to see you there!

This program implements the statement of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, "Teaching Mission Ad Gentes:  Continuing Pentecost Today."  The program is certified for credit for continuing education and catechist hours for many dioceses.  This is the Basic Program and satisfies the prerequisite for the Advanced Course to be held in 2018.
