Please join the Washington Network Group (WNG) when we convene our next WNG International Roundtable reception at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington, D.C.


About this Event:

This event is convened under the auspices of the WNG International Roundtable, which supports leaders in the international arena, including the public, private, and independent sectors. The reception presents a networking opportunity for professionals in international business and international trade policy.



Clement C.M. Leung, JP

Our host is Mr. Clement C.M. Leung, JP, Hong Kong Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs to the United States, the most senior representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government in North America. As Commissioner, Mr. Leung directs the Hong Kong Government's efforts in promoting U.S.-Hong Kong economic and trade ties, and constituency-building activities in the United States. He also oversees the work of three Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices in Washington, D.C., New York and San Francisco.

Mr. Leung's remarks will address the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Additionally, he will comment on the responsibilities of the HKETO in Washington and its efforts to strengthen the unique Hong Kong-U.S. bilateral relationship. Mr. Leung will take questions following his remarks. Special thanks to Daniel McAtee for facilitating the planning of this event.
