FUND-A-NEED : Catechetical Ministry
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:18-19)
The Catechetical Ministry supports the faith formation, religious education classes, and youth and adult faith formation programs at St. Julie’s. Catechesis involves the lifelong effort of forming people into witnesses to Christ and opening their hearts to the spiritual transformation given by the Holy Spirit.
The programs offered at St. Julie’s include :
- Baptism preparation (children, youth and adults)
- Children’s Liturgy of the Word - serves children grades 1 through 6. Children are invited to celebrate the Word of God at the 9:30 am Mass each Sunday in a manner understandable to their age level.
- Children & Youth First Eucharist
- Children & Youth First Reconciliation
- Youth Confirmation
- Quinceañera - the Hispanic tradition of celebrating a young girl's coming of age on her 15th birthday.
- Marriage Preparation
- Youth Ministry
- RCIA and
- RCIC
